Call for papers

Papers related to integration of social sciences and humanities in radiation protection research and practice as well as papers from the field of policy making related to different applications of ionizing radiation, will be presented as oral or poster presentations. Case studies, whether they be successful or otherwise, from both fields are particularly appreciated. Moreover, papers presenting past experiences and contemporary needs for integration of social sciences and humanities in technical platform research such as NERIS, EURADOS, ER-ALLIANCE and MELODI will be given extra attention and selected abstracts will be rewarded by free registration to the conference.

  • Indicate the session for which you are submitting the abstract:
    1. Integration of social sciences and humanities in radiation protection research and practice,
    2. Policy making related to different applications of ionizing radiation,
    3. Eagle – results and future perspectives,
    4. Platenso – results and future perspectives
  • Indicate whether you prefer oral or poster presentation.
  • The abstract should be prepared in English. Linguistic accuracy required.
  • The Abstract Title must begin with a capital letter and be followed by lowercase letters. Use capital and lower case letters as appropriate in title.
  • Abstracts must contain original information. It should briefly state the purpose, method, major findings and conclusions of the work. Special attention should be given to future research suggestions.
  • The maximum length of the body of the abstract is 2500 characters including spaces. Please do not insert tables, figures and references in the abstract.
  • The first author listed is considered the principal and presenting author. Correspondence will be addressed to the first author.
